A business, not a booking hobby

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity—not simply a way to travel more.

Successful advisors are relationship-builders, problem-solvers, learners, marketers, and business owners. The work is rewarding, but it requires consistent effort, strong communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to serving clients.

What we look for in a WDT advisor.

Travel experience is valuable, but professionalism, initiative, communication, and a willingness to learn are what turn enthusiasm into a sustainable client-service business.

We want advisors who care deeply about the client experience and are ready to build something meaningful. We can teach systems and suppliers; the commitment to serve and grow has to begin with you.

Questions before you apply

What prospective advisors often ask.

Is this an employee position?

No. Advisors operate as independent contractors and are responsible for building and managing their own travel business within WDT’s agency standards and systems.

Do I need previous travel-industry experience?

Previous experience can help, but it is not the only factor. WDT looks for professionalism, communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, coachability, and a commitment to completing training.

Will the agency provide all of my clients?

Advisors should be prepared to develop their own audience, relationships, and referral business. Agency opportunities may vary and should not replace consistent personal marketing.

How quickly will I earn income?

Travel-advisor income is commission-based and takes time to develop. Commission is generally earned after clients travel and suppliers pay the agency; earnings are not guaranteed.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. Advisors need a reliable computer, mobile phone, high-speed internet, and a professional environment for client communication and detailed work.
